Lowave has announced the release of two new DVDs of note. The first is a two film monograph of Maurice Lemaître's recent work, Nos Stars and Le Petit Dieu. As in Lemaître's other recent films such Ganeden, his visual expositions and imaginary (and imaginative) adventures are also surveys through the history of the medium (in Nos Stars, the intersection is not only of feminine dreams and desire in contemporary cinema, but also of such representations throughout the history of cinema. The second is the latest installment of the anthology Cinéma Différent, featuring pieces by Valérie Morignat, Olivier Fouchard, Shiho Kano, Mauro Santini, Dominik Lange, Solomon Nagler, Frédérique Devaux, and Ruben Guzman.
